Nothin' but a G Thing: So who is this chick? G-Child is a white punked out tom boy Straight out of Allentown, PA, she is by far unlike the average girl next door. This individual whose style would be best described as a female Beastie Boy, (think Avril Lavigne meets Fred Durst) is destined to blow up once she catches the eye of the right person. YOU MAY KNOW HER FROM VH1'S EGO TRIP'S: THE WHITE RAPPER SHOW!!!!!!!!!! Gina, otherwise known as L-Pimp and nicknamed Ghetto Rocker, goes by the stage name G-Child. She realized rapping was her passion in the early 90s thanks to rapper Vanilla Ice, who cracked number one with his single Ice Ice Baby. Although she was young, she knew what she wanted to do in the future. She is one of Ices most humble and truest fans. Even as the media dismissed him as a joke, she stood up for him and basically idolized him, no matter what people had to say. She even has his pumpkin tattoo on her right arm; not to mention her obsession with the Halloween holiday as well. In 1994, she began writing her own lyrics. In 2000, she met her long time idol Vanilla Ice and he was nice enough to let her show her skills on stage at Allentown's Crocodile Rock Cafe. She free-styled at 6 of his shows; quickly making a name for herself locally. She is sure to catch all of his PA shows to make an appearance. Then she started doing shows, the 1st was opening for Vanilla Ice Dec 18th 2004 at Crock rock. After that, she opened for The Ice man every time he was in her hometown! Be sure to catch her open for Vanilla Ice at all his Allentown, PA shows!!!!! The 49 inch, 100 lb. hip hop/punk finally recorded her first demo Rated G in December 2003. She recently remade the disk and put a combination of all of her best tracks on it. She worked with then producer/rapper/DJ Ras at his home studio in Allentown. With Many struggles of Shady Peeps in the industry, She soon realized Everyone is in it to help you, BUT to then turn there back on you As she worked with many local artists and producers. G-child is in a Local studio now working with indi- FUNK MOB RECORDS. She will also being taking her hype-man/MC/singer/songwriter MASTA' $KILLZ along for the ride!!!! If you are down with her influences, Kotton Mouth Kings, Vanilla Ice, Kid Rock, House of Pain, Cypress Hill, Crazy Town, DMX, and Funk Doobiest then you'll dig the sound. The lyrics are packed with emotions that you can feel. Each song has a different vibe or a unique stylist blend. There are the anthems about growing up, rocking her Adidas's, skateboarding, dealing with heart-ache, attention deficit disorder, cereal, Drinking to much, pride, friends being two faced and so on. She basically just loves music, making it with her homies and letting other people listening to it. Is the world ready to get Gd up? Hopefully! Only time will tell, but until then, prepare for the G-Child to pimp it out!
