We are a pop rock electro band from the Lower Mainland, with members stretching from Vancouver all the way to Chilliwack. We’ve recently had an epic adventure across Canada to Toronto to film MuchMusic’s season 2 of disBAND; the reality TV show responsible for launching ‘Stereos ‘ into fame. We are the first band ever to be featured on the show from the West Coast.

The past six months have been pretty crazy. We recorded our self titled EP in July and August of 2009, and released it in mid September. We left on a follow up tour across Canada in mid November and while in Toronto, we were contacted by MuchMusic. They had heard about us in the week we spent playing all over Ontario and thought we had the right sound and look to make a splash in the Canadian music scene. Less than a month later we started filming and that’s when the craziness began…

We were filmed taking a train ride with Greig Nori (Producer of Avril Lavigne, Sum 41, Hedley) across Canada. We were caught up in a derailment, found hidden lizards onboard, came close to being left stranded, were thrown into an impromptu acoustic show, and had the best time of our lives. Once we finally got into Toronto, we had barely enough time to check into our hotel before we had to play at MuchMusic. One song, one chance to leave an impression. We represented the West Coast with pride. They loved it.

We were invited back a few weeks later for a showcase at the Tattoo Rock Parlor and flew out for five more nights in Toronto. When we arrived, we we’re met with lost equipment, emergency cab rides to local hospitals, management, record label, and booking agent contract offers. Things couldn’t have been more dramatic.

This just touches the tip of the iceberg for our two episodes, which will be airing on MuchMusic on March 3rd and the disBAND Finale on March 10th.
We are super happy to be able to represent the West Coast, and we hope the West Coast has our back! We are leaving to Dallas, Texas to record with Geoff Rockwell in late February, with music video and tour plans all being put together. 2010 is going to be a good, good year.
